Japanese Photographer Shows a Macro Side of the World With These Stunning Pictures
Japanese photographer Miki Asai’s passion is to capture the beauty and depth of seemingly small things often invisible to the naked eye. The photographer uses her Canon EOS Kiss X5 (EOS Rebel T3i) to photograph water drops, flowers, and small creatures to show their tenacity and importance.
“I am always surprised when I look through the camera’s viewfinder to see things normally unseen,” she writes. “Through a macro lens, I am trying to show the beautiful world of the small.” When asked by 500px about her advice to those newly interested in macro photography, she said: “I learned that when it comes to living things – if you want to achieve the shot that’s in your head – patience is really the only way.”
These magnificent and profound photographs of the macro world just gives an overview of how humans are such tiny beings in this vast and incredible universe.
