Artist Spends Around 40 Hours Making An Intricate Drawing With Blue And Black Pens

Estonian artist Sandra, also known as mikiverevikim on Twitter, recently unveiled her newest artwork – a painstakingly and beautifully intricate floral pattern drawn with black and blue gel ink pens onto rough watercolour paper. She humbly calls herself ”a slow drawer” because she spent  around 40 hours drawing this 18 x 27 cm piece of art and around 50 hours tracing it on Adobe Illustrator after she scanned it. The floral pattern consists of many shapes and spirals superimposed onto each other.

There is also a  see the time lapse video of the entire piece which demonstrates her delicate drawing process and the end result – all in a few seconds.
